Treasures from Ocean
         
This gallery has 15 working exhibits all speak about different resources obtained from the oceans. It has some collections of corals and shells. It gives ideas about deep fishing. It also has seven fine photos on wall, which give visual idea ocean floor, wind motion and evolution of fish.  
         
 
Oceanic Quest
         
It has 26 exhibits which brief water cycle, different sources of non - conventional energy from water, density pressure and salinity of different oceans, Pangaea and plate tectonics.  
         
 
Popular Science
 

It has 39 exhibits that attract children. It has Hand and brain co - ordination in which hand and eyes together cheat your brain. Mirrors in fun mirror exhibit shows you in strange poses. Magic tap found hear pours you water with out any water inlet. Infinity mirror found shows you uncountable number of images. How many different colours you want to see? All you can see in the exhibit 'colour shadows'.

 
 
 
Fun Science
 

It is a pretty new gallery with a variety of interesting inspiring and fun filled exhibits that unravel some of the principles of mathematics, gravity, mechanics, aerodynamics, light, sound, hearing, perception and illusion.

Visitors can watch a straight stick passing through a curved path with out any hindrance. They can play a harmonium and create melodies. By manipulating a stream of air, they can float a ball in different directions or   by manipulating liquids they can make colorful paintings.  They can put their head on a platter or can see a well whose depth is infinite.      They can play with sympathetic swings in different axes and can also find how fast they react to sound and     light.
 
 
 
Science Park
 

The Science Park includes 52 working mechanical models surrounded by many medicinal value plants and herbs of ornamental value.  The green environment gives an outstanding look for the Science Centre. It includes also varieties of birds like Swan, Dove, parrots, etc. and animals like Guinea Pigs, rabbits, etc. sheltered under Dome and care.

Some fascinating mechanical models are Lift yourself, Rolling Drum, Gear train, A swing is a Pendulum, Express slide, etc. they are really a fine feed for the young minds.   
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Galleries
 
Located amidst the calm of the hills, Dhenkanal Science Centre has galleries on Popular Science and Life Science. Since its inauguration in 1995, the centre has been the hub of non-formal science education for the students and general mass living in and around the district of Dhenkanal.
 
 
Science Park
 
Keeping in mind the thousands who visit Dhenkanal Science Centre every year, the centre also has a Science Park with 40 interactive exhibits.  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Fun Science
 
In the Fun Science gallery, one can have fun, while testing mirror exhibits, playing musical instruments or while looking through the wall. One can see hot air balloon moving up, rolling ball perform acrobatics, pendulums creating chaos, cone going up defying gravity and many more.
 
 
Life Science
 
In the gallery on Life Science at Digha Science Centre, one can see among others, live chicks, snails, crabs, fish, ants, birds etc. in their habitat, artificially created for the visitors to admire. A giant DNA model is the prime attraction of this gallery.  
 
 
Science Park
 
In the Science Park, surrounding the main building of Digha Science Centre, one can turn wheels, roll balls, look through peepholes and also go up & down in a sea saw. While getting entertained, some may grasp and understand the principles of science based on which these exhibits work.
 
 
Jurassic Park
 
Seven animated life like dinosaurs, placed in a specially created ambience in the Jurassic Park at Digha Science Centre, is a popular attraction for the visitors coming here. The dinosaurs are brought alive in a unique light and sound show held regularly.
 
 
National Science Camp
 
As a hub of non-formal education, Digha Science Centre, from time to time, organizes Science Camps on important scientific topics, such as, Marine Resource, Coastal Management etc., which lures students from all over the country.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
There is a large 4.8-acre Science Park, full of lush green plants and colourful flowers, at Kapilas, a location close to Dhenkanal in Orissa. The park contains 49 exhibits, all of which are educative in nature and generate interest in science when children interact with them.
